Traditional Shiraz Rug: A Persian Masterpiece

Handcrafted with high-quality hand-carded wool, this rug features a robust structure with a cotton warp. Its density of approximately 160,000-200,000 knots/sqm attests to its meticulous workmanship and remarkable durability.
The design is a vibrant example of tribal art, characterized by an intense red central field hosting a series of large diamond-shaped medallions, woven with geometric motifs in dark blue and black. These medallions are arranged in vertical columns and connected by a chain of small white rhombuses. The rest of the field is dotted with small star and rhombus motifs creating a dynamic effect. The geometric border, predominantly in dark blue, beautifully frames the main design with wolf-tooth elements and small rhombuses.
