This splendid Kazak Fine rug, originating from Pakistan, is a vibrant expression of tribal textile art. Crafted from hand-carded wool on a cotton warp, it boasts a density of approximately 160,000-200,000 knots/sqm and a thickness of 0.9 cm, ensuring both robustness and a pleasant feel underfoot.
The central field, in a delicate grey-blue hue, is enlivened by a series of stylized geometric and figurative motifs, arranged in a dynamic and polychrome fashion. These depictions, characteristic of the Kazak tradition, include symbolic elements and stylized figures that tell stories of an ancestral past. The rich color palette, ranging from intense red to deep blue, from ocher yellow to burnt orange, is enhanced by subtle color variations (abrash) that attest to the artisanal craftsmanship and the use of natural dyes.
A double border frames the field, featuring repeated geometric designs that echo the central motifs, creating a harmonious visual balance. This rectangular rug is ideal for adding a touch of warmth and character to any environment, from living areas to bedrooms, offering a functional and durable work of art.
