This magnificent Nadjafabad rug, originating from Persia, is an authentic hand-knotted work of art that carries centuries of traditional craftsmanship. Characterized by a classic and sophisticated composition, it features an imposing, richly decorated central medallion from which elegant floral motifs radiate.
The main field, in a refined ivory/cream color, is adorned with an "all-over" design that includes stylized palmettes, sinuous vines, and colorful flowers in shades of light blue, beige, and hints of brick red. This motif extends harmoniously to the elaborate border, a deep navy blue, enriched with small rosettes and geometric-floral patterns that accentuate its elegance.
Made with high-quality hand-carded wool on a sturdy cotton warp, this rug boasts a density of approximately 160,000-200,000 knots/sqm and a thickness of 1.2 cm, ensuring durability and exceptional softness to the touch. Its fine weaving and meticulous attention to detail make it a timeless furnishing element, capable of enriching any environment with a touch of luxury and history.
