Persian Kashan Rug: Floral Elegance and Craftsmanship
This splendid rug, a Kashan exemplar of Persian origin, embodies the refinement and richness of traditional design. Its central field, in a delicate cream/ivory color, is entirely covered by an elegant all-over design of finely detailed floral motifs. Among these, sinuous arabesques, stylized palmettes, delicate rosettes, and intertwined tendrils stand out, creating a visually striking harmony.
At the center of the rug, a magnificent medallion stands out, characterized by more intense shades of deep blue and burgundy red, with dark black/brown accents, drawing the eye and defining its structure. This central element is often accompanied by cartouche pendants extending into the field.
