This magnificent Sarough rug, originating from Persia, is a textile masterpiece that embodies the elegance and richness of Persian tradition. Its composition is a triumph of meticulously drawn floral motifs, evenly distributed across the entire brick-red field.

The rug's heart is dominated by an elaborate central medallion, featuring deep blue and cream tones, surrounded by arabesques and palmettes that extend harmoniously towards the corners, where quarter medallions complete the design. The field is densely decorated with an all-over design of stylized vases, vine leaves, and lotus flowers, creating an atmosphere of a lush Persian garden.

The main border, in a deep navy blue, showcases an alternating pattern of palmettes and blossoming rosettes, framed by thinner secondary borders that echo the colors and motifs of the field.
