Handcrafted with hand-carded wool on a cotton warp, it features a robust weave and a knot density of 160,000-200,000 knots/sqm, ensuring durability and quality. Its thickness of 1 cm provides a pleasant feel underfoot.
The design is dominated by a large central medallion formed by three concatenated diamond shapes, set against a vibrant cochineal red field with darker nuances, also showcasing a clear abrash, a testament to the use of natural dyes and the uniqueness of each piece. The corners are defined by deep indigo blue/black spandrels, rich with small geometric motifs. The borders, also richly decorated, elegantly frame the rug.
