This magnificent Kazak rug, originating from Pakistan, embodies the authentic beauty of tribal textile art. Crafted with masterful artistry, it offers a distinct touch of character and color to any interior.
The central field is dominated by a deep scarlet red, enriched by a lively geometric design featuring octagonal medallions. Three large central medallions, inlaid with intricate geometries in shades of deep blue, cream, and green accents, immediately draw the eye. Between the medallions and throughout the field, a harmonious series of secondary motifs and stylized symbols typical of the Caucasian tradition are distributed. The use of hand-carded wool gives the rug a rich texture and a subtle chromatic variation, known as "abrash," which enhances its authenticity and antique charm.
The border, in an elegant cream color, is also adorned with a sequence of repeated geometric motifs, creating a harmonious contrast with the main field. Crafted from hand-carded wool for the pile and cotton for the warp, this rug ensures exceptional robustness and durability. With a density ranging from 100,000 to 150,000 knots per square meter and a thickness of 1.1 cm, this rug is not just a decorative element, but a work of art destined to last, bringing a touch of history and culture into your home.
