This magnificent Kazak Fine rug, originating from Pakistan, is a celebration of the ancient art of traditional weaving. Expertly crafted using hand-carded wool, with a cotton warp, it offers a warm and robust feel to the touch. Its central field is dominated by a rich brown hue that evokes shades of ochre and camel, creating a warm and inviting backdrop.
The design is a classic example of geometric aesthetics, characterized by a series of large, rhomboid or octagonal medallions that run vertically along the center. These medallions are vividly decorated with complex and detailed motifs, incorporating a range of brilliant colors such as deep blue, vibrant red, sunny yellow, and emerald green. The rest of the field is enriched with a myriad of smaller geometric and stylized floral motifs, distributed with balance. A main border, also densely decorated with repeated geometric elements, frames the entire design, flanked by thin secondary borders that enhance its structure.
With a density of approximately 160,000-200,000 knots per square meter and a thickness of 0.9 cm, this rug is a manufactured item of remarkable quality and durability. The presence of abrash, the slight variations in color that attest to the use of natural dyes and manual weaving, adds an authentic and unique character. Ideal for environments seeking a touch of ethnic elegance and a story to tell, the Kazak Fine is a timeless piece that enhances any space.
