This magnificent Kazak Fine rug, originating from Pakistan, is a textile work of art that evokes the ancient tradition of oriental craftsmanship. Made with precious hand-carded wool and a cotton warp, it features a high knot density ranging from 160,000 to 200,000 knots/sqm, and a thickness of 0.9 cm.
The design is characterized by a plain central field in a predominant terracotta hue, enlivened by subtle natural color variations (abrash) that enhance its depth and authenticity. This field is framed by a series of richly decorated concentric borders. Each border reveals stylized geometric and floral motifs, arranged with great harmony. The vibrant colors include shades of blue, teal, ochre, brick red, and ivory, creating a fascinating contrast with the main field. The symmetry and precision of the motifs are typical of Kazak manufacturing, yet with a more refined interpretation that justifies the "Fine" designation. This rug adds warmth, character, and a touch of ethnic elegance to any environment, perfect for enhancing both classic and contemporary furnishings. Its robustness and the quality of the materials ensure its longevity.
