The Mamlouk rug, originating from Pakistan, is a textile work of art that combines tradition and timeless charm. Made from hand-carded wool with a cotton warp, this rug stands out for its exceptional softness and durability.
Its all-over design features intricate geometric motifs and stylized medallions, inspired by ancient Persian and Anatolian traditions. The predominant rust red color, enriched with deep blue, ochre, and touches of green, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Natural color variations, known as abrash, give each piece a unique and authentic character, a testament to its artisanal craftsmanship.
With a density of 250,000-300,000 knots/sqm and a thickness of 0.6 cm, the Mamlouk is a robust and comfortable rug, ideal for enhancing living rooms, studies, or bedrooms, adding a touch of traditional and ethnic elegance to any setting.
