This authentic Shiraz rug originates from the eponymous region of Persia, renowned for its nomadic weaving tradition. The density of approximately 160,000-200,000 knots/sqm attests to the meticulous craftsmanship typical of these artisanal pieces, with a thickness of 1 cm.
The rug features a vibrant central field in a terracotta red hue, enriched by notable color variations (abrash) that highlight its authenticity and the use of natural dyes. The design is characterized by an imposing geometric central medallion in dark blue, with stylized white and brown details.
