This splendid Baluch rug originates from the historical region of Persia, where the Baluchi, nomadic peoples, have passed down the art of weaving for generations. Each piece is a unique expression of their culture and traditions.
Features and Patterns
The rug features a geometric medallion design, typical of Baluch craftsmanship. The cream central field is enlivened by a series of large, diamond-shaped medallions in black and red, enriched with stylized star motifs and small floral-geometric elements.
