This authentic Baluch rug, originating from Persia, is a magnificent example of nomadic craftsmanship. Made with hand-carded wool on a robust cotton warp, it features a high knot density, estimated between 160,000 and 200,000 knots/sqm, and a thickness of approximately 0.6 cm. The design is characteristic of the Baluch style, featuring an elaborate central medallion, surrounded by a cream-colored inner field that hosts geometric and stylized motifs, including elegant birds and deer.
