The Kazak Fine rug, originating from Pakistan, is a sublime expression of traditional craftsmanship. Made with hand-carded wool on a cotton warp, it stands out for its robustness and pleasant tactile texture. The high density, between 160,000 and 200,000 knots per square meter, testifies to the meticulous workmanship and its remarkable durability.
The design features a series of striking central medallions, flanked by a rich variety of geometric motifs that fill the field and borders. The predominant colors, such as the beige of the background, vibrant red, blue, and yellow, blend harmoniously, creating a captivating contrast. The presence of abrash, the slight natural color variations due to the artisanal dyeing of the wool, gives each piece a unique and authentic character.
With a thickness of approximately 0.9 cm, this rug offers comfort and thermal insulation, making it ideal for enhancing any setting, from classic to modern. It is a work of art that carries with it the history and culture of its regions of origin, imparting warmth and personality to living spaces.
