This authentic Gorawan rug, originating from Persia, is a hand-knotted masterpiece that carries the echo of ancient nomadic traditions. Crafted from high-quality hand-carded wool, with a cotton warp, it offers an unmistakable robustness and softness to the touch.
The design features an imposing geometric central medallion, enriched with stylized motifs reminiscent of tribal symbols and abstract florals. The vibrant colors, with an intense red as the predominant hue, balanced by deep dark blues and elegant ivories, create a captivating visual contrast. Each knot, the result of ancient artisanal mastery with a density between 160,000 and 200,000 knots/sqm, contributes to the rich texture and unique character of the rug.
The "abrash" effect, visible in the slight variations of red and blue tones, attests to the use of natural dyes and adds an extra layer of authenticity and depth. With a thickness of approximately 1 cm, this Gorawan is robust yet comfortable, ideal for enriching any room, from the living room to the dining room, lending a warm and inviting atmosphere with a touch of Persian exoticism.
