This splendid Kazak Fine rug, hand-knotted in Pakistan, is an authentic expression of traditional textile art. Its aesthetic is rooted in the tribal and nomadic designs of the Caucasus region, masterfully reinterpreted by Pakistani artisans.
Made entirely from hand-carded wool, with a cotton warp, it offers a robust texture and excellent wear resistance. Its surface features a fascinating abrash effect, meaning slight color variations due to the natural dyeing of the wool, which gives the rug a unique and lived-in character, enhancing its artisanal nature.
The design is an all-over pattern featuring large, stylized, and richly detailed geometric medallions, harmoniously distributed across the field. Each medallion is a small work of art, with star motifs and strongly geometric floral patterns, in vibrant shades of blue, red, green, yellow, and earth tones, contrasting beautifully with the neutral beige background. An elaborate border, also with repeated geometric motifs, frames the central field, adding depth and definition.
With a knot density ranging between 160,000 and 200,000 knots per square meter and a thickness of 0.9 cm, this rug is not just a decorative element, but an investment in durability and beauty. It is perfect for adding warmth and personality to any environment, from the living room to the bedroom, creating a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere.
