Characterized by high-quality hand-carded wool, with a cotton warp, this rug features a high density, ranging between 160,000 and 200,000 knots per square meter, ensuring exceptional durability and longevity. The pile has a thickness of 1 cm, giving the artifact a pleasant and robust texture.
The design is distinguished by a majestic central medallion, finely inlaid with stylized floral motifs, expanding over an intense ruby-red field. Around the medallion, an all-over design of palmettes, rosettes, and arabesques harmoniously fills the space, creating a luxurious and refined atmosphere. The main border, in a deep navy blue, is also adorned with a succession of floral and vegetal motifs, echoing the elegance of the field.
