Discover the authenticity and traditional charm of this beautiful Kazak Fine runner, masterfully hand-knotted in Pakistan. This creation is an excellent example of Kazak textile art, renowned for its geometric designs and robust materials.
The central field features an elegant light beige, almost monochromatic color, which creates a pleasant contrast with the richness of the main border. Two small, distinctive stylized medallions, in shades of red and blue, adorn the center of the rug, adding a touch of interest without overwhelming the design. Slight natural color variations, known as abrash, can be observed, testifying to the artisanal workmanship and the use of natural dyes, giving each piece a unique character.
The main border stands out with a vibrant terracotta or brick red color, featuring alternating geometric and stylized motifs resembling flowers or shields, in cream, navy blue, and light blue. These elements are enclosed between rows of small geometric squares that enhance their structure. The thinner secondary borders display stylized meander patterns in beige and blue tones, precisely framing the central design.
Made with hand-carded wool for the pile and a cotton warp, this runner guarantees exceptional resilience and long-lasting durability. With a density ranging between 160,000 and 200,000 knots/sqm and a thickness of approximately 0.9 cm, it offers a solid texture and an excellent feel. Ideal for enhancing hallways, entrances, or any space requiring a touch of warmth and tradition, bringing with it the history and craftsmanship of Pakistan.
