This sumptuous Kazak Fine rug, originating from Pakistan, is an authentic expression of traditional knotting art. Crafted with hand-carded wool, with a cotton warp, it boasts a remarkable density of 160,000-200,000 knots/sqm and a thickness of 0.9 cm, which gives it robustness and a distinctive tactile softness. Each knot tells a story of skill and dedication, typical of artisanal production.
The design of this Kazak is characterized by a main field of a vibrant terracotta red, enriched by a sequence of stylized geometric medallions that create a dynamic and captivating all-over pattern. A large beige central medallion stands out, framed by stepped motifs, drawing attention and balancing the composition. Accents of dark navy blue and dusty light blue define the contours of the motifs and fill secondary sections, adding depth and contrast.
The entire composition is bordered by wide bands that repeat smaller geometric motifs in shades of blue, beige, and red, harmonizing the whole. Natural color variations, known as abrash, are visible, especially in the blue and red areas, and testify to the use of natural dyes and the uniqueness of each piece.
With its rich details and warm colors, this Kazak Fine rug beautifully complements both classic and contemporary environments, bringing a touch of ethnic elegance and warmth. It is ideal for enriching a living room, dining room, or a spacious study, creating a striking visual focal point and a welcoming, refined atmosphere.
