This fascinating Nimbaft rug, originating from Persia, is a magnificent example of nomadic craftsmanship. Made with hand-carded wool, it features a cotton warp, ensuring strength and durability.
The central field is characterized by an original geometric square pattern, where each square encloses a unique and distinctive geometric motif. This arrangement creates a dynamic and captivating visual effect, typical of Persian tribal traditions. The predominant colors are a warm peachy beige for the background, enriched with accents of terracotta red, sky blue, light blue, and dark brown, which blend harmoniously, sometimes displaying a delicate abrash effect.
The rug's border consists of a main band adorned with stylized stars and floral and geometric motifs, flanked by minor borders that echo the colors and designs of the field. The light fringes complete the authentic aesthetic of this piece.
With a density of 160,000-200,000 knots/sqm and a thickness of 0.9 cm, this rug is not just a decorative element, but a piece of history and culture, capable of infusing a unique atmosphere into any room.
