This magnificent Persian Nain 9La rug is a sublime expression of knotting art, renowned for its sophistication and extraordinary knot density. Originating from the historic region of Persia, it is a piece that embodies elegance and millennia-old tradition.
The central field, a luminous ivory, is dominated by a large, elaborate circular medallion, from which delicate flowering vines gracefully emanate. Stylized palmettes, rosettes, and sinuous leaves are harmoniously distributed across the entire field, creating an all-over design that avoids monotony thanks to the richness of detail. The colors used are soft and sophisticated: various shades of blue, light blue, antique pink, beige, and pearl grey blend skillfully, highlighting the precision of the contours.
The border consists of a series of concentric bands, each with its own repeated floral motif, framing the central field and enhancing its complexity. The main border design echoes the palmettes and vines of the field, creating visual continuity.
Made with hand-carded wool and precious silk, with a cotton warp, this rug is not only visually sumptuous but also incredibly soft and durable. The high knot density, between 400,000 and 450,000 knots/sqm, testifies to the superb quality of the artisan craftsmanship and the longevity of the piece. The pile has a thickness of 1 cm, providing a luxurious feel underfoot.
A Nain 9La rug is ideal for those seeking a furnishing element that combines aesthetic beauty with a rich history of tradition, capable of transforming any environment into a space of refined elegance.
