This magnificent Kashan Fine rug, originating from Persia, is a textile masterpiece embodying the rich tradition of Persian carpets. Crafted from hand-carded wool (cotton warp), it boasts a density of 160,000-200,000 knots/sqm, ensuring exceptional durability and a soft texture.
The design is dominated by a large oval central medallion in cream, richly adorned with intricate floral motifs in shades of beige and light brown. Inside, a smaller navy blue medallion hosts a delicate floral bouquet, creating a visually striking focal point. The main field is a vibrant coral red, embellished with small stylized leaves and flowers in light blue, pale yellow, and pink, arranged in a scattered design that adds depth and movement.
