This Nain Kashmar rug of Persian origin is an authentic textile artwork that enchants with its refinement and color balance. Made with hand-carded wool and precious silk, on a cotton warp, it features a knot density of 160,000-200,000 knots per square meter and a thickness of approximately 1.3 cm, a testament to its high-quality craftsmanship.
The design is characterized by a majestic central medallion, with elaborate contours, which stands out vividly on an intense red field. This medallion is richly decorated with stylized floral motifs: palmettes, rosettes, and flowering branches intertwine in perfect harmony. The red field is in turn embellished with an all-over design of small flowers and leaves that gracefully fill the space.
The color palette is dominated by vibrant red, balanced by the creamy ivory of the main border and accents of blue, light blue, and beige that enrich the floral details and contours. The outer border features a series of cartouches and continuous floral motifs, elegantly framing the rug.
This Nain Kashmar piece is not just a furnishing element, but a piece of Persian history and tradition, capable of adding a touch of luxury and warmth to any setting, from classic to more contemporary.
