This splendid Kazak rug, originating from Pakistan, is a magnificent example of traditional knotting art. Crafted with hand-carded wool on a cotton warp, it features a dense and robust weave (100,000-150,000 knots/sqm) with a thickness of 1.1 cm, which gives it remarkable resistance and a pleasant feel to the touch.
The central field is dominated by a vibrant red color, enriched by a subtle abrash effect that adds depth and character. A large geometric medallion stands out at the center, surrounded by a myriad of geometric and stylized floral motifs, distributed harmoniously across the entire field.
The chromatic palette is rich and varied, including shades of sky blue, mint green, lavender purple, golden yellow, and orange, which beautifully stand out against the red background. The border consists of a main cream band, embellished with a sequence of rosettes and stylized symbols that create an elegant and defined edge. Two secondary borders, an inner and an outer, with delicate pastel tones, complete the design, perfectly framing the heart of the rug.
Ideal for enhancing classic or modern environments with a touch of tradition and color, this Kazak rug is an investment in beauty and durability, capable of creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
