This magnificent Kazak rug, originating from Pakistan, is a true textile masterpiece crafted entirely by hand. Its composition of hand-carded wool with a cotton warp ensures exceptional durability and an unmistakable softness to the touch. The knot density, ranging between 100,000 and 150,000 knots per square meter, attests to the high quality of the knotting and attention to detail.
The design features a central field of a deep, vibrant red, adorned with a large star-shaped central medallion and two smaller octagonal medallions positioned above and below it. These elements are outlined in shades of light and dark blue, with cream details and a hint of blue-green enriching the chromatic palette. Around the medallions, the field is scattered with small stylized geometric motifs that add dynamism to the design.
The main border, in an elegant cream color, is decorated with stylized floral patterns alternating with "X"-shaped geometric elements, all framed by thin blue guard stripes. The chromatic contrast between the red field and the cream border, along with the blue accents, creates a visual harmony that captures the eye. With a thickness of 1.1 cm, this rug is not only a decorative item but also a comfortable and durable piece, capable of imbuing any room with warmth and character.
