The main field, in a deep night blue, is entirely covered by an intricate all-over design of vases, palmettes, and arabesques, woven with extraordinary precision. A large lobed medallion stands out in the center, with vibrant shades of red, beige, and light blue, repeated in the spandrel-shaped corners. The main border, in a warm brick red, features cartouches and sinuous floral vines, elegantly framing the central field.
Crafted from hand-carded wool, with a cotton warp, this rug boasts a remarkable density of 160,000-200,000 knots/sqm and a thickness of 1.2 cm, ensuring softness and durability.
