This magnificent Kazak Fine rug, originating from the regions of Pakistan, is an authentic textile work of art that embodies centuries of tradition and artisanal mastery. Its presence can transform any environment, lending a touch of warmth and a unique atmosphere.
The rug features a distinctive central design, characterized by a series of four rhomboidal medallions aligned along the main axis. These medallions, richly decorated with minute geometric motifs and intricate checkerboard figures, are the visual focal point of the piece. The field, in a warm ochre-orange color with subtle natural chromatic variations (abrash), is densely populated by a myriad of small scattered geometric motifs, including stars, stylized flowers, and hooks, which enrich the entire field around the central medallions. The colors used for the details are extraordinarily vibrant: deep blue, ruby red, emerald green, cream, sky blue, and brown, harmoniously combining to enhance the complexity of the design. The border, composed of several bands, elegantly frames the rug with alternating geometric motifs and stylized rosettes, completing its tribal and refined aesthetic.
Made with high-quality hand-carded wool, this Kazak Fine rug guarantees exceptional softness and remarkable resistance to wear. The cotton warp ensures stability and durability over time. The high knot density, ranging between 160,000 and 200,000 knots per square meter, testifies to the fineness of the workmanship and attention to detail. With a thickness of approximately 0.9 cm, the rug offers a pleasant feel underfoot, while maintaining an elegant profile. Each knot is the result of meticulous work, passed down from generation to generation, making each piece unique and unrepeatable.
