This splendid Nain 6La rug, originating from the renowned region of Persia, is an authentic hand-knotted work of art. Its exceptional quality is evidenced by the use of hand-carded wool and silk, with a cotton warp, which give the pile an extraordinary softness and luster. With a density ranging between 800,000 and 900,000 knots per square meter and a thickness of approximately 0.8 cm, every detail is crafted with meticulous precision.
The design features a magnificent central medallion, richly adorned with floral and stylized motifs, standing out for its complexity and harmony. The field is dominated by a delicate ivory color, creating a luminous background upon which an elegant all-over floral design unfolds. This motif includes delicate leaves, lotus flowers, and palmettes, executed with silk threads that catch the light and create a subtle play of reflections. The predominant colors, besides ivory, are sky blue, shades of beige and light brown, with occasional accents of dark blue and purple-brown that add depth and contrast.
The elaborate border of the rug is composed of several bands, each with its own continuous floral pattern, framing the central field with grace and precision. This Nain 6La rug is not just a furnishing element, but a piece of Persian history and tradition, capable of enriching the ambiance of any setting, from the most classic to contemporary, with a touch of discreet and timeless luxury.
