This magnificent rug, named Nain 6La, originates from the renowned region of Persia, the cradle of one of the world's oldest and most refined textile traditions. Every Nain is a testament to the art of weaving, and this example is no exception, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship and breathtaking details.
Its composition is a luxury to both touch and sight: it is hand-knotted with hand-carded wool and precious silk, which gives the motifs a subtle, luminous sheen, while the cotton warp ensures stability and durability. The exceptionally high knot density, ranging between 800,000 and 900,000 knots per square meter, attests to the incredible complexity and value of this creation, making it extremely durable and capable of preserving its beauty for generations.
The classic design features an elegant central medallion on a light cream field, surrounded by an intricate arabesque of stylized floral motifs, typical of the Nain style. Delicate shades of sky blue, brown, beige, and rosy accents create a harmonious and sophisticated contrast with the light background, highlighting the weavers' mastery. The borders, also richly decorated with smaller floral motifs and cartouches, perfectly frame the field, adding depth and character to the rug. With its thickness of approximately 0.8 cm, this Nain 6La rug is not just a furnishing item, but a true collector's gem, capable of enriching any environment with its history and unmistakable elegance.
