This charming Persian runner is an authentic expression of nomadic textile art. Hand-knotted with high-quality wool, it features a central field dominated by a vibrant light blue color, enriched with a repeated pattern of small, stylized geometric designs, reminiscent of simplified floral or "boteh" elements, gracefully distributed across the entire surface.
The design is framed by a wide main border in burgundy and a narrower inner cream/ivory border. The main border stands out with its succession of stylized and zoomorphic motifs, while the secondary one presents small repeated geometric designs. The chromatic balance between the light blue of the field, the burgundy red of the borders, and the ivory and turquoise blue details creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The presence of a subtle abrash, meaning slight variations in shade within the same color, testifies to the use of natural dyes and the uniqueness of each hand-knotted piece, lending depth and character to the rug. The combination of vibrant colors and a traditional design makes this runner perfect for adding a touch of ethnic elegance to hallways, entryways, or as a distinctive element in any room of the house.
