This splendid Kilim from Afghanistan is a textile work of art that embodies centuries of history and artisanal mastery. Its density, estimated between 160,000 and 200,000 knots/sqm, and a thickness of just 0.3 cm, testify to its fineness and durability.
The all-over design is dominated by a series of stepped diamond (lozenge) motifs, creating a dynamic and captivating visual rhythm.
