This magnificent Kashan rug, originating from Persia, embodies the elegance and sophistication of ancient Persian textile tradition. Crafted with hand-carded wool on a cotton warp, it features a dense weave and a soft, durable pile, typical of the finest artisanal production. Its knot density, ranging from 160,000 to 200,000 knots/sqm, ensures extraordinary design definition and long-lasting durability. The pile thickness is 1.2 cm.
The central field is characterized by a refined all-over design with stylized floral motifs, including delicate palmettes, acanthus leaves, and flowering vines, which intertwine harmoniously on a cream background. The color palette, dominated by shades of blue, light blue, terracotta, and cream, is skillfully balanced, creating an atmosphere of calm and elegance. The richly decorated borders echo and amplify the field's motifs, masterfully framing the rug.
A Kashan is more than just a rug; it is a work of art that carries centuries of history and culture, ideal for enhancing classic environments or adding a touch of tradition to modern spaces. Its remarkable craftsmanship and timeless design make it a precious investment and a collector's item.
