Be captivated by the authenticity of this splendid Kazak rug, a textile work of art hand-knotted in the remote regions of Afghanistan. Renowned for their robustness and vibrant designs, Kazak rugs are a pure expression of Afghan craftsmanship and tribal culture.
The design stands out for its bold geometric motifs, skillfully distributed across the field. The central field, in a serene light grey, is adorned with stylized medallions and stars in shades of soft blue, pastel yellow, and a delicate peach color. This color palette harmonizes perfectly with the elaborate border, dominated by "S" and cross motifs, on a cream background that elegantly frames the rug.
Made with high-quality hand-carded wool and cotton warp, this rug features a rich texture and extraordinary resilience. Its meticulous knotting, with a density of approximately 100,000-150,000 knots/sqm and a pile thickness of 1.1 cm, ensures not only a pleasant feel but also remarkable durability. The slight color variations, typical of natural yarns and known as abrash, enhance the authenticity and artisanal character of this piece.
Every wool fiber has been selected and processed to enhance the colors and texture, making it a unique piece capable of telling ancient stories and enhancing any environment, from classic to contemporary.
