This precious Hamadan Fine rug originates from the historical region of Persia, an area renowned for its ancient manufacturing tradition. Crafted with hand-carded wool, featuring a cotton warp, it boasts a density ranging between 160,000 and 200,000 knots per square meter and a thickness of 0.9 cm.
The rug displays a vibrant scarlet red central field, enriched by an elaborately designed central medallion, outlined with ivory and blue details. The all-over floral pattern includes palmettes, rosettes, and arabesques, creating an atmosphere of opulence and tradition. The borders, in navy blue and ivory, echo and amplify the field's floral motifs.
