This Kathmandu rug embodies understated elegance and high-quality craftsmanship, typical of its Nepalese origin. Crafted from hand-carded wool, known for its softness and resilience, it features a dense weave of 200,000-250,000 knots/sqm ensuring durability and exceptional comfort. The cotton warp contributes to its structural stability.
The design stands out for its abstract geometric pattern, an all-over design of lines and rectangular shapes that create a delicate contrast on the cream-beige surface. This play of textures and reliefs, enhanced by the tonal variation of the abrash, gives depth and movement to the rug without making its appearance heavy. With a thickness of 1.4 cm, it offers a luxurious feel underfoot and excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.
Ideal for modern and minimalist environments, where simplicity of form and quality materials are appreciated, this rug integrates harmoniously, adding a touch of discreet sophistication. Its neutral palette makes it extremely versatile, perfect for complementing various furnishing schemes, from revisited classic to essential contemporary.
