The rug features a background characterised by dark grey tones interrupted by broad faded areas and irregular patches in lighter shades. The visible design evokes fragments of traditional Persian motifs, with traces of medallions and floral scrolls partially dissolved by a distressed vintage patina. The composition is dominated by a strong graphic destructuring that erodes the sharpness of the original outlines. The lighter areas create a marked yet blended colour contrast against the dark base, giving visual depth to the surface. The borders echo the same fragmented motif, blending seamlessly into the central field without a defined geometric frame. The texture appears uniform to the touch, while the visual appearance simulates the wear of time through uneven colour transitions and worn-out shading running across the entire decorated surface.

With a pile made from 100% polyester, this rug brings a distinctive decorative presence to the room. Its machine-woven construction shapes the structure and character of the piece. A thickness of 3 mm completes its profile and gives the rug a defined presence in the space.

The 160x230 cm size is recommended for a living room with a 3-seater sofa, to frame the seating area. In the living room it can visually connect the seating and coffee table; check whether the actual size allows the front furniture legs to rest on it. Adapt the arrangement to the actual furniture footprint.
